Virtual Care Visits

Virtual Care allows our providers to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients 12 years of age and older at a distance using telecommunications technology. MercyOne Urgent Care uses innovative, professional medical-grade devices with advanced HD video to ensure we can treat our patients effectively. Our providers can provide care remotely that is on par with an in-person visit — including conducting basic exams, checking vitals, and performing urgent care testing. Symptoms treated:

• Allergies
• Cough
• Cold
• Flu or COVID concerns
• Diarrhea (without abdominal pain)
• Fever
• Pink eye (WITHOUT pain in eyeball/globe & no acute vision changes)
• Rash (simple)
• Refills of established medications (non-scheduled only)
• Runny nose
• Sinus
• Sore throat
• Tooth pain

Exclusions include:

Automobile accidents; Assault, Trauma with suspected fracture, Lethargy; Acute MS changes; Acute neurological decompensation/deficit, Acute Syncope, New Onset Headache not related to sinus cold etc…), Abdominal pain, Chest pain, Pregnancy related problems, Vaginal complaints, Dialysis, Chemotherapy (within past 60 days), patients with multiple/complicated co-morbid conditions.
